Sobre este artículo

Bollingen Foundation, New York, 1964. Book. Very Good. Cloth. Signed by the Author. Second Revised Edition.. 357 pages. Hardcover, bound in cloth covered boards and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. There is some faint beginnings of foxing on the edge of the page block and the cloth covered boards, with some light shelfwear to the edges. Previous owner's bookplate is affixed to the front pastedown. Inscribed flamboyantly in ink on the front free endpaper by the legendary museum director and curator James Johnson Sweeney to the former Registrar of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Edward B. Mayo. The binding is tight, the edges and corners of the boards are sharp, and the interior is clean and free of markings (aside from the aforementioned dedication). Second edition, revised with additions. Texts in English. Photographs by Eliot Elisofen, Walker Evans, and others..
