My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior FINE / Covers Near Fine. Never read. Stapled (two). Coated stock. Front cover is black/white Pearl Harbour during attack the south-east corner of the Naval Air Station, Ford Island early on the morning of December 7, 1941, colour “Now” photo same view taken July 1982, back cover is full size colour Unidentified serviceman’s grave at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Punchbowl Crater, Honolulu. Spine is straight and solid, no wear, no rips. Covers are flat, clean, bright, no rips, both free back corners have been bent, no stains, no holes, virtually no edge wear. Page edges clean, bright. Inside of book is tight, clean, clear, bright, flat. The two bent back corners (now restored flat) had made a slight shadow on pages 50 and 52 of the paper edge on the dog ear. Special Edition. Lots of Colour and black/white photos. Two page centre poster Pearl Harbour Today Looking South. Eight black/white pages also in centre which are about the series, first page is The Battle Of Britain Then And Now, next two pages are a Complete Contents List from Issue 1 of After The Battle to Issue 38, next page is about Bound Volume 9, next page is Airfield Plans, next page is Order Form, next page is advert for two books, last b/w centre page is Order Form. My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
