The author was the founder of the Missouri Farmers Association and was its President from 1914 to 1940. He was one of the most influential farmer voices in the USA and developed the cooperative method for farmers in Missouri. He also published the Missouri Farmer magazine and this book is a compilation of articles written by him from 1912 thru 1939. Laid-in is a full page size photo of the author.
