The book is in Very Good+ condition with only minimal signs of wear for its 90 years. Lt.- Col. Repington was a Commander of the Order of Leopold, Officer of the Legion of Honour, and author of an earlier book, "The First World War." This personal diary reveals his take on the condition of major (often war-scarred) cities and countries throughout Europe and the U.S. as he visited them in a diplomatic capacity.
