First printing with correct full number line sequence. Aside from a 1/4" mark on the upper right corner of the front free endpaper, this is an exceptionally clean copy with no writing, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp. Corners are square, and the boards are clean, flat and true with virtually no edge wear except some bumping to the lower spine and some slight discoloration to the same. Dust jacket is not price-clipped ($35.00) and is likewise in great shape with minimal shelf wear, just a small crease on the back flap. Sinopsis
Against the Day is a novel by Thomas Pynchon. The narrative takes place between the 1893 Chicago World's Fair and the time immediately following World War I and features more than a hundred characters spread across the United States, Europe, Mexico, Central Asia, and "one or two places not strictly speaking on the map at all," according to the book jacket blurb written by Pynchon.
