Book is Very Gently Read. Book Interior FINE/ Boards Near Fine / Dust Jacket Very Good. Sewn binding. Rag edge pages. Boards and spine are green cloth, spine has a red rectangle with white/green border, lettering white. Dust jacket is red/green/white, lettering white/black, colour wrap-around pictorial, black/white photo on back flap. Dust jacket is price clipped, some chipping along top and bottom, several rips along top and bottom dj cover and spine edges but not on flaps, largest is 5/8 inch H x 5/8 W and 1/2 inch H x 2 1/2 W, all rips had cello tape put on them at one time which is still clear and not yellowed, vertical fold lines at back flap, front spine and front flap have bits of colour visibly missing as chips. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, two slightly bent corners, a little bit of sunning on top free edge of spine, very little edge wear. Page edges slightly sunned. Inner end papers are white. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Owner’s name, date, small, in ink on ffep. No photos or illustrations. Includes stories such as: Earthquake In San Francisco (Aitken, Frank W.); Forty-Five Seconds Inside A Tornado (Baden, Ira J.); The Champawat Man-Eater (Corbett, Jim); Bailing Out At Supersonic Speed (Hawkins, Arthur Ray); The Eruption of Vesuvius (Pliny The Younger); Buzzing Death (Tursa); Success At Kitty Hawk (Wright, Orville). My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
