London: Golden Cockerel Press, 1953. Hardcover. Fine. Translated from the old Welsh by Gwyn Williams. Illustrated with 11 color engravigns by John Petts. One of 350 numbered copies. Full red cloth with gilt-stamped design on front and title lettered in gilt on spine. In decorative gold slipcase. Publisher's Prospectus laid-in. Some sunning to spine. "This interesting satire on Women, which may have been written around 1510, was considered sufficiently important to be included in a manuscript anthology of 1550. It was produced in a "familiar mediaeval and anti-chivalric tradtion of warning against the dangers of love and marriage.
