Gift inscription reading "Aan Mevr. J de Villiers van U opregtevriendin M. Louw 2/8/'46" on front free endpaper. Elsabe de Villiers was born near Graaff-Reinet in 1861. This is a collection of letters to "Liewe Vriendin" relating to her experiences and impressions as a missionary in Nyasaland from about 1914. .
