Sobre este artículo

Alfred A. Knopf, 1997. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 1st Printing Stated First Edition; no other printings noted. Same date on Title page & Copyright page. Hardcover in very good condition with muddy colored yellow boards, navy spine cloth, and gold gilt spine lettering. Top text block stained yellow and has a red dot (remainder mark?) on top. White endpapers; front paste down end paper was pasted with a dog-ear fold folded under so verso of front board not completely covered by the end paper (see photo.) Interior text block clean & tight; no markings or writing noted. Dust jacket very good; would be fine but for light water stain on back of jacket at bottom spine; does not bleed through to the front. Not price clipped. * Second novel by this Cuban American author. Comments on the book from Caryl Phillips, ""The Aguero Sisters"" illuminates the troubled relationship between parents and children, between Cuba and the United States, and between secrets and lies, with a beautifully spun elegance. Cristina Garcia offers us a profoundly moving insight into the difficult questions of identity which haunt both individuals and nations.""
