The main theme of the book centres on how the Andre Jordan Group changed the whole course of golfing history in Europe and boosted tourism in the Algarve by setting a new trend in golf and leisure resort development which others were later to imitate if not equal. Quinta do Lago, based on the American country club concept, was the first of its kind in Portugal and it became the blueprint for the future development of residential golf resorts in Portugal. The emphasis in the editorial is on creativity and innovation and especially the Group's commitment to strict eco-friendly principles in the design and construction or renovation and management of quality resorts (ie: Quinta do Lago, Belas Clube de Campo and Vilamoura) which today boast championship courses recognised as world class.
