First American edition stated, very good red cloth hardcover shows stain at top page edges with light shallow bleed to a few pages, tiny spot stain at bottom corner page edges, some light soiling to page edges and touch of bumping at bottom corners of covers, in very good jacket with inked out price at inner flap, noticeable rubbing at areas of panels, masking tape reinforcement at bottom edge of jacket reverse, staining visible at top and bottom of front inner flap, staining visible at areas of top and bottom edges of jacket reverse, and tiny bit of edge wear. 302 pages with black & whites. Still a pretty solid copy of this look at the night the Germans unloaded a great mass of "..incendiary bombs on the ancient city of Coventry" with the resulting destruction of thousands of lives and buildings.
