The author traveled with a government committee through Alaska. Chapters include: The "Inside Passage"; Phases of Life on Beiring Sea; Nome and the Gold Fields of the Seward Peninsula; The Seal Islands; Alaskan Fisheries; Indians of Alaska, etc. Excellent period photos.
