(4), 353, (1)pp. Table of contents at back. Three major Kingdoms - Animal, Vegetable and Mineral are divided into 9, 4,and 2 chapters respectively. Over 700 members of the 3 kingdoms are examined with a short paragraph subtitled with each of the members. Accompagne d'un Texte expicatif propre a faire connaitre l'histoire naturalle dans er qu'elle offre de plus eurieux, de plus interesant et de plus instructif. Extrait de Buffon, Lacepede, Lamarck, Latreille, Sonnini, Bory de Saint-Vincent, et autres. 9 3/4" x 6 1/2". Printed on excellent paper. Foredges and bottom edges uncut. Some folded corners of pages at front and back. Some wear to upper outer corner near front. First few pages were bound out of correct order but are all there. Paper is very bright and clean with just a little foxing. Should be rebound. Rare.. Illus. by Senefelder - Illustrator.
