Very Good/No dust jacket. 8vo. 120pp. Alcheringa was published from 1970-1980 with the intention to publish "transitions of oral poems from living traditions, acient texts with oral roots, and modern experiments in oral poetry.". Several issues contained 2 sided 33rpm vinyl recordings. This issue features an interview with Gary Snyder by Nathaniel Tarn, A full transcription of Reverend W.T. Goodwin's EASTER SUNRISE SERMON, and other pieces by Jerome Rothenberg, Simon Ortiz, Armand Schwerner, David Antin, Jackson MacLow, Anselm Hollo, and a mini-anthology of South Pacifc Oral Poetry. A small chip is missing from the middle of the top edge of the front cover. Former owner's name in ink at top of front fly-leaf.
