Paris. No Binding. Near Fine. 4.5" x 7" Undated, ca. 1880s? Single sheet autograph letter, addressed to "Mon cher ami." Addressed from 98, Avenue de Villiers (Paris). Age toned, darkening to edges, fold line through center. Overall about fine given its age, with clear signature. Untranslated. Alexandre Dumas fils [1824-1895] was a French author and playwright, best known for his romantic novel La Dame aux Camelias, which was later adapted into Giuseppe Verdi's 1853 oper La Traviata. He was the illegitimate son of French novelist Alexandre Dumas and Marie-Laure-Catherine Labay, and he was later legally recognized by his father. 0.
