Front cover art by Douglas Bruce Berry, an American comic book artist perhaps best known as the inker for several Jack Kirby comics. First issue, of a total of four published of this zine. Alien Culture was, as described by Jim Leary, "An amateur publication for fans of the field of fantastic literature inclusive of fantasy, science-fiction and weird fiction." This issue with an essay on author vs. critic by August Derleth, as well as fiction by other authors, etc. Original mailing envelope present. FAIR/GOOD condition. Last two leaves detached from the staples, possibly not attached at all, based on appearance. General toning. Minor chipping and creasing along the edges.
