Seattle: Cloudcap, 1988. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. As New/As New. 1988 FIRST PRINTING of the First USA Edition. Original blue boards, gilt lettering spine. The book is in NEW condition in NEW dust jacket: never read, never used, no marks, not a remainder, tight binding, no foxing, flawless dust jacket complete with original price of $35 on the flap. This book was purchased directly from the publisher and kept in climate controlled storage for years. The book measures 27cm x 22cm, and has 247 pages, 143 color & 76 b/w photos, 9 tables, 18 maps + charts, index. NOTE: This is the true first USA printing of the book with "cloudcap" printed on the spine of the book and on the spine of the DJ. There is a reprint that is often mistaken as the first printing. The reprint does not have "cloudcap" printed on the spine. Instead, it has the publisher's emblem printed in that place. The book offered here is the true first printing with cloudcap printed on the DJ and spine of the book.
