Book is SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the title page. In 1878 the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company became the first railroad in New Mexico. By 1890 it controlled over half of all track miles in the state. They became the power to promote tourism to be an important financial enterprise.
