Sobre este artículo

This is a scarce 'dime novel' from Street & Smith's Humor Library ~ "All to the Good - or, A Drawing Card in the Game of Humor" by famed boxer JAMES "GENTLEMAN JIM" J. CORBETT. 1905 1st edition; Street & Smith; New York. Softcover. The book is #7 in the "Books of Real Humor" series. Corbett was the first world heavyweight champion under Marquis of Queensberry Rules (when gloves replaced fists) and is best known for beating the mighty John Sullivan in 1892 in one of boxing's greatest upsets. His good looks, polished manners and immaculate dress earned him the nickname "Gentleman Jim."

Condition:
Light soiling and tanning to the covers and spine. The front cover has pulled from the spine 1" up from the bottom edge. The spine has a 2" tear at the top edge. There is a pentagram stamped in ink at the top-left corner of the back cover. Bits of paper have chipped away at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Nice interior - the pages are clean and nearly appear unread with no notable issues found. Overall the book is in Good condition.
