Sobre este artículo

Trianon Press, Paris, first edition thus, 1970. One of 600 numbered ordinary copies from a total edition of 662. Quarter-morocco and marbled boards, 4to,. 10 facsimile plates, 8 pp. From the Description: "William Blake’s early tractate, 'All Religions are One', consists of ten small etched plates averaging in size only about 5.5 X 4 cm. There is some uncertainty about the circumstances in which the work was produced, though it is generally accepted that it must belong to a period of experimentation in the production of the plates for the Illuminated Books. " For this facsimile edition "The plates were reproduced in Paris in the workshops of Trianon Press (France) by the collotype process, with some water-colour washes added by hand" and the work was "printed on Arches pure rag paper made to match the paper used by Blake. Copy no. 52 of 600 numbered copies from a total edition of 662. Spine slightly faded, otherwise Very Good in Very Good slipcase.

Sobre Wykeham Books

We specialize chiefly in "books about books", the emphasis being on historical aspects of book collecting, production and distribution. A particular speciality is in bibliographies, of all subjects of interest to collectors, dealers and scholars, with several thousand bibliography titles in stock. Other strengths include extensive holdings of auction catalogues for book sales and a good selction of reference material on and facsimiles of illuminated manuscripts. We also have a special interest in rare material by or about Rudyard Kipling.
