NY: Hurst & Company. VG. Reissue. Hardcover. Undated but circa 1898 from owner's inked date on the front fly. Red & black cloth with silver spine lettering, 270 pages + ads. Cloth cover s are bright & clean, showing very little wear. The acidic paper is qu ite browned & the front fly & title page have broken lose from the bin ding. Sewing & hinges are firm but the sewing shows through on the fro nt endpaper due to the cracking browned paper. The paper is a less fra gile through-out the rest of the book. .
