Schleswig: Koniglichen Taubstummen Institut, 1836. Fair. Leather. 12mo (up to 7½" tall). Some small pieces of leather on back cover are missing. Hand-tooled leather bound cover with date 1836 stamped on back. Typeset 1828. All edges gilt with gauffered edges. Boards flush to text block and are very square and tight. Old German hymnal with 6 endpages of family history, births and deaths of the John Kruger and Schmidt families of Henderson Township, Minnesota, from 1838-1868.
