Sinopsis
Published in 1989, The Alligators by John Updike tells the story of Charlie as he joins the others in his fifth grade class in tormenting and ridiculing the unpopular new girl Joan. Power struggles ensue until a strange dream of alligators prompts him to look at the social interactions a little more closely.

i really enjoyed this book! But, I have a question what is the theme? Some reasons of why i love it is because i love romance! it was wonderful seeing how Charlie was a bully at first but then he loved Joan!
