Bottom corner of title leaf torn with loss of letters on recto and verso, clean tear in middle of title leaf (no loss). Age-toned. A good copy. A late 18th-century Massachusetts almanac compiled by Daniel George, who issued New England almanacs published in various Massachusetts towns between 1776 and 1787. In addition to the calendar for the year, the almanac includes a variety of readings, recipes, and notices. These include "diverting jests," a receipts for dropsy and destroying bugs, a list of the vacations at Harvard College. DRAKE 3314. EVANS 17547. ESTC W36450
