BMC II:1044.637. The author describes the geography, forests, alpine roses, valleys, clouds, waterfalls, mountain snowstorms, red snow, avalanches, glacier, alpine summits, mountain passes and alpine roads, the hospices, chalet life, the Alp horn, Alpine feasts, village life in the mountains, etc, with excellent illustrations.
