Sobre este artículo

New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1953. First Trade Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Good +. SIGNED by the Author on a free front endpaper, thick 8vo, green cloth with silver lettering on spine & front cover, Mylar-protected lettered dust jacket (unclipped) with wallpaper background, top page edges stained green for dust protection by publisher, green endpapers with reproductions of cartes de visite & photos of Sandburg's family & friends, 445 pages. Carl August Sandburg (1878 - 1967) was a Swedish-American poet, writer, and editor. He won three Pulitzer Prizes: two for his poetry and one for his biography of Abraham Lincoln. During his lifetime, Sandburg enjoyed great appeal as a poet, balladeer, and author. He was widely regarded as "a major figure in contemporary literature," Sandburg ALWAYS THE YOUNG STRANGERS is Sandburg's reminiscence based on his early life in Galesburg, Illinois. It's a nostalgic view of small-town life and American history. Overall VERY GOOD CONDITION for this SIGNED, clean and tight volume with chipped dust wrapper. It has slight age-toning as is typical for this paper. The dust jacket has rubbing and chipping at points around its edges and icorners. The publisher's top green-stained edges of the paper have a couple of water spots.

Sinopsis
