A First Edition, slightly later printing (no statement) from 1952, this hardcover 8vo is bound in handsome medium-green cloth with darker green insight title boxes & silver lettering to front & spine. Condition is VG+: completely clean, but lacking that brand new crispness. Binding strong & straight, but rear hinge starting. Pages creamy white with a whisper of tanning, but completely unmarked. Very modest pushing to both ends of spine. The price-clipped DJ is VG, with light chipping at both ends of spine, rubbing to extremities, slight spine fading; protected in clear mylar by former owner.
