New York: American Alpine Club, 1935. First Edition . Soft cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 1935 issue of the American Alpine Journal. Very uncommon. According to published records, the club had only 221 members in 1935. Original printed wrappers. Exceptional example but small light brown stain 15mm into the lower outside corner of pages 316 through 335 AND a darker brown 3cm wide spot on pages 393 through 404 (see photos for depiction of the most pronounced staining which diminishes towards the start/finish of the page groups); otherwise, this example has clean covers, no tears, sharp corners, faint tanning to spine, solid binding, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, complete with all pages & photo plates and maps, solid binding. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
