Sobre este artículo
1 . hardback. Very Good. Illustrated. 1st ed. NY (Harper) 1937. Cutting from dustwrapper tipped into front endpaper. Ex-library, with stamps and bookplate from the St Louis Mercantile Library. Rear hinge starting to crack. Spine is heavily sunned and faded (and slightly shelf-cocked). Internally very good. Pages are clean and crisp, with no signs of foxing or damage. A very good copy, overall.

This was the last fishing book published while Zane Grey was alive, and it certainly shows his love of Australia, and the belief the seas surrounding her coast was excellent for fishing. This book contains the usual descriptive quality for which ZG is known, and also gives the reader his opinion on various subjects;and you are left with little doubt where he stands on any of them. The photographs of the many sharks and other fish he caught while on this trip are also quite fascinating. A well put together travelogue of places and activities one must visit when in the land down under. Whether you are a fisherman or not, this book will satisfy you as it is Zane Grey at his best, describing what he loved to do. Elsewhere, it has been reported he fished an average of 300 days a year. This may not be his best book on fishing, but one I'm sure you will enjoy.
