Quarter calf with gilt lettering and compartments and marbled paper over boards. iv, 839pp. Tissue-guarded frontispiece, 2 tissue-guarded steel-engraved portraits. Very good. Some edgewear, rubbing and scuffing of calf, mainly at head/tail of darkened spine; some age toning and mild wear to endpapers, though internally near fine. First edition, tight and nice, of the twelfth volume of this annual compilation of just about everything -- internally tight and bright and near fine. Text in two-column format. Discreet ex-library, with very few markings.
