Very nice copy of the history of one of the segregated beaches for African Americans on Amelia Island in north Florida. American Beach was founded as a black resort by Florida's first black millionaire and the story turns on his great-granddaughters life. Book is clean and unmarked, with the exception of the black line on the heel of the pages, a remainder mark. Dust Jacket is clean, with no marks or tears and is covered with a removable mylar sleeve.
