This book is a collection of 13 volumes of Charles Evans's American Bibliography which catalogues every Book, Pamphlet, and Periodical printed in the U. S. from 1639 to 1820. Each page of this book contains smaller renderings of pages from the bibliography to save paper, and contain more information. Volumes 1-12, which contain bibliographies from the year 1639 to some of 1799 are printed at 9 images to a page, while volume 13 which has the rest of 1799 into 1800 is printed at 4 images to a page. 1800 is the last year contained in this copy. This book is unpaginated, although each image is paginated within its own volume. Approximately 700 pp in total. Book is free from writing or marginalia within, and binding is solid.
