First edition with matching dates of 1892 on the title and copyright pages, and no mention of later printings (BAL 3434). Very good plus copy in the publisher's original olive-green cloth with gilt lettering and black illustrations to the front board and spine. Minor wear to the edges of the spine and to the extremities. Gilt lettering surprisingly well preserved. Previous owner's name and date on the front endpaper in pencil.
