Sterne Library of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The text paper was especially made for this edition by the P. H. Glatfelter Company. Endleaves are a specially commissioned design of Richard J. Wolfe in beautiful, marbled blue, red, gold, black and white. Minorly scratched, all edges are gilded. Black silk ribbon bookmark attached. Pages are strong and clean, in pristine condition with no marginalia or environmental markings whatsoever. Folding plate depicting area map of the United States in 1776.
