Size varies; most range between 10 x 6cm. and 12 x 8cm., although a couple dozen are 6 x 6cm. and 20 are larger (10 x 12cm. up to 17 x 12cm.). The larger photos were probably professional, while the rest are amateur photos of good quality with good detail. Tied oblong album. 26 x 17cm. Some leaves detached; a few leaves are unused and a couple of photos are missing. No captions. The husband probably worked for Shell since many of the larger pictures are various Despedida gatherings at the Shell House, the Crystal Bowl, and aboard the S. S. President Wilson to honor various persons who were departing from the Philippines in 1953. The photos are of the couple, their friends, their home, their 1947 Chrysler, a big parade (bands, floats for Quirino, Champion of Labor and Manila Railroad Co., etc.), some buildings, and a few local residents.
