These postcards were printed and provided to soldiers arriving in Great Britain in 1917. Oddly, the cards were printed in the obsolete "Undivided Reverse" format that was unacceptable and no longer required by the then current Postal Regulations. The intention of these postcards was to allow the American soldiers arriving in England to let their families and loved ones know that they got at least got "somewhere in England". This Hero was named Ray F. Frey, from Denver, CO and his postcard was seemingly sent to his wife identified as only "Mrs. Ray F. Frey". Franking (Postage Fees by way of postage stamps) was not required for active duty American Soldiers.

Handling and storage wear is very min or. Slight Toning is normal. There is a tiny crease on the upper left corner, approximately 1/3"
