The daughter is a curious and voracious reader and she is fascinated by the Falls and the park itself. She is also a tomboy who is not afraid to get her hands dirty. The family spends a week exploring the Falls and the surrounding area. They also hike to the top of the falls and visit the thermal pools. The daughter grows to love the park and the Falls in particular.
