Oversize hardcover, 8.75 x 11.25 inches, has burgundy cloth-covered boards with gold spine lettering and blind-stamped cover decoration of an eagle. Color and black and white photographs and illustrations. 384 pages. introduction by Bruce Catton. Black paper-covered slipcase has color illustration on the front. NOT ex-library. Binding tight. Appears to be unread. Book is in excellent condition with only mild fading to the spine. Pages clean and unmarked. Slipcase has light edge and corner wear, with a crack at the bottom open corner. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
