Several pages of text concerning description, history and formulation accompany each of the 180 seperatley pages sections. Includes a 65 page Appendix that includes Glossary, Bibliographic index and General Index with a final leaf of errata. Cloth pulled and lightly frayed at spine ends; rubbed over joints with loss of color over the spots where the binding cords press against the cloth. Usual and expected light toning to page stock edges. Plates uniformly bright and neat; text cleand and unmarked.
