Sobre este artículo
Leipzig: Bernh. Tauchnitz Jun., 1842. Hardcover. Good. 16mo, pp. 310, half leather over grained cloth, gilt lettering and decoration to spine, this rubbed and with faint creases, corners bumped, interior with signature on ffep, some toning to end papers and to early pages, otherwise mainly confined to page peripheries, binding sound. This was published in the same year as its first edition in London and illustrates Dickens' complaint about the lack of international copyright laws. Tauchnitz had not come to any agreement with Dickens about reissuing his books by the time this was published.
