No separate listing found on Amazon just for Part One volumes. Third Edition, Copyright 1947, Houghton Mifflin publisher. Hardcover in very good condition; no dj. Burgundy boards with gold lettering on front (slightly faded) and spine (moderate to heavily faded). Boards have minimal edge wear or surface wear other wise. Rear joint slightly loosened, front joint and binding very good. 832 pages plus A Reading List and Index of Authors and Titles after that. Pages are mostly clean, with very occasional pencil notes in margins or underlines. Pages are also lightly tanned, and are not of heavyweight stock, so some minor wrinkles here and there.
