The book provides an encyclopedic summary of the known world, with lists and time-line of things such as: the populations of the American States from1790 through 1830, a timeline of mathematical and scientific discoveries, a list of American authors, manual labor schools, literary societies, medical schools, list of the Congregational and Presbyterian ministers, income tables of the British West Indies and so much more.
