Bound in brown cloth with gilt lettering. Binding is broken,front board completely separated; rear board holding on by threads. Interior pages bound together, except for two loose fold-outs. Pages are clean and bright; fold-outs are fragile with some taped at seams and others showing tears on folds, a few completely separated.(Only one fold-out seems incomplete). Interesting fold-out drawings include: the Bollman Patent Iron Suspension Truss, Mohawk Bridge at Schenectady, Scuykill Permanent Bridge, Bridge Over Hudson Built by Theodore Burr, Trenton Bridge (T. Burr), Patent Bridge "Colossus" and New Hope Bridge (L. Wernway), Town Lattice Truss, Howe Truss Bridge, Iron Bridge Over Monongahela River on the B&O R.R. (A. Fink), Fink Combination Bridge, Whipple Trapezoidal Truss, Channel Span Steubenville Bridge (J. Linville), Lowthorp Truss Bridge, and more.; Good .
