Sobre este artículo

[AMERICAN REFORMERS]. MARTYN, Carlos, series ed. American Reformers: Wendell Phillips, Horace Greeley, William E. Dodge, S. G. Howe, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, William Lloyd Garrison, Charles Sumner, John G. Whittier, Henry Ward Beecher, John Brown and his Men, and John B. Gough. 12 vols. New York: Funk & Wagnalls, 1890-1894. 8vos. In orig. cloth. Generally very good. A mixed set largely in maroon cloth, a few in red cloth. The spine of Frederick Douglass is stained, otherwise a set the presents quite well. A few volumes have various bookplates; the Sumner and Howe volumes with early leather owner labels on the front cover. Contents are clean and variously toned. A complete set, uncommon thus.
