The lower corner of the front board is bumped and there are two small 1/4" scuff marks on the front board. Without its issued dust jacket. 285 pages containing a bibliography, four fold-out maps of the cities of New York (two) Boston and Philadelphia showing the locations of silversmiths in those cities during the 17th and 18th centuries and text. Pages 11 through 256 provide reproductions of markers marks, the related name, place of business and dates of manufacture if known of American Silversmith from 1650 to 1850.
