The volume marshals the genius of thousands of original signing Americans. Carl Sandburg was an American poet, biographer, journalist and editor, winning three Pulitzer Prizes, two for his poetry and one for his biography of Abraham Lincoln. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with a few light marks to the boards. A bookplate for Flexi White to the front pastedown. A previous owner inscription to the front pastedown and front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
