One of the front free endpapers is missing. Some pen marks to page 389, effecting some of the words, as well as to the rear endpapers. Darkening to pages 1-5, making them difficult to decipher. Front hinge tender. Wear to tail of spine. Previous owner's name John B. Butler on title page. A bookplate noting that the book was presented by Butler to the Quintilian Society in 1819 is on the front fixed endpaper. References: OCLC 85797777, Sabin 1270 (but different publication locations).
