London: Faber and Faber Limited, 1952. Hardcover. First Edition, First Impression. Octavo (8vo). 243pp. + 9 plates. Publisher's cloth boards. VERY GOOD in Very Good dust jacket protected in a removable archival cover. The book itself shows a small section of discoloration at the corner of the back board, endpapers just lightly toned, very small bookseller stamp at the bottommost of the paste-down, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards are bright and distinct. The dust jacket shows a corresponding small section of discoloration at the back panel, spine lightly tanned with a very small chip at the foot, a thin scratch of the front panel, otherwise is not price-clipped remaining bright and distinct. As pictured.
