Thomas Farmer At Strawberry-Hill. Very Good. 1762. Full Leather. 5 Vol. Set of full leather books. Very good condition especially considering their age. Corners are all bumped and have the leather worn off. All covers have either some small marks or tiny scuffs in the leather. Volumes 1-4 of "Ancedotes of Painting in England..." and an extra volume "A Catalogue of Engravers, Who have been born, or resides in England..." Volume 1 and 2 are published in 1762, volume 3 and 5 in 1763, and volume 4 in 1771. A few small penciled in numbers in the front of back covers, and a red mark in the back of volume 5, otherwise no marks or notations found inside. Pages are toned from age. Overall very impressive condition for 250+ year old books. Additional postage will be required based on distance of shipping. ; 8" x 9.25" .
