The book is in Very Good+ condition, with some shelf rubbing at the spine tips and lightly bumped top corners. There are also several small tears in the seam between spine and rear panel. The book is bound in a blue cloth, with a blind-stamped anchor symbol on the front panel. (In the Anchor Bible series, all books dealing with the New Testament are bound in red cloth, while all books dealing with the Old Testament are bound in blue cloth.) The binding is tight and secure, with very light off-setting of the endpapers. The text pages are clean and bright throughout, with no marks, tears, or signatures of former owners. The book measures 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches with 89 Introductory pages and 409 text pages. .. Hard Cover. Very Good+/No Dust Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
